Our well established client is seeking a dedicated and proactive Secured Lending Solicitor/ Case Handler to join their award winning Real Estate department.

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual who is passionate about delivering exceptional customer service and achieving personal and team goals. The role offers the chance to work in a fast-paced environment while ensuring compliance with firm procedures and professional standards.

The successful candidate will be reporting directly to our Head of Secured Lending with the Real Estate department the role is to develop and handle a full caseload of secured lending files, predominantly remortgages but also to include some purchases, for our lender clients.

In some cases we will also provide dual representation for borrowers. Responsible for ensuring personal delivery of targets, providing excellent customer service and at all times complying with the firm’s procedures as well as meeting professional standards.

Key Responsibilities

Ensure the delivery of excellent customer service to all clients, borrowers and brokers, including good communication, timely response to correspondence and proactive management of work.
Ensure personal compliance with professional conduct rules and internal policies and procedures.
Manage financial aspects of work effectively and work within parameters communicated in relation to write offs.
To ensure that personal development is sustained.
To ensure achievement of financial billing targets for client work are achieved.
To ensure achievement of billing and gross profit targets.
Meet targets for recovery of cash from clients.
Ensure files are managed in a manner at all times consistent with any SLAs agreed with referrers of work
Participate regularly in business development activities to stimulate growth in caseload.
Be proactive in assisting the firm sell more services to existing clients directly or through cross selling.
To ensure proficiency in the effective use of the practice and case management system and any other technologies implemented to deliver personal and firm objectives.
Ensure the integrity of data for contacts, clients and matters which your team work on.
