Our well-established client is seeking an experienced Conveyancer to join their team, based at their Staplehurst office.
The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and a solid understanding of property law, ensuring a smooth and efficient process for our clients during property transactions.
This role will require you to supervise the Conveyancing department, therefore possess excellent organisational abilities and time management, skills to handle multiple cases simultaneously while maintaining a high level of service.
Responsibilities
· Manage all aspects of the conveyancing process from initial instruction to completion.
· Communicate effectively with clients, estate agents and other Law Firms to provide updates and address queries.
· Prepare and/or review legal documents, including contracts, transfer deeds, and mortgage agreements.
· Maintain accurate records and documentation throughout the conveyancing process.
· Ensure adherence to service level agreements and manage workload efficiently to meet client and company expectations.
Qualifications
· Solicitor or FCILEX although we would consider a qualified CLC too.
· Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain complex legal concepts clearly.
· Proficient IT skills, including familiarity with conveyancing software and Microsoft Office applications.
· Excellent organisational skills with a keen attention to detail.
· Effective time management abilities to prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment.
· A relevant qualification in law or conveyancing is essential for this role.
