Legal Assistant – Post Completion

Our client, a well-established law firm based in Canary Wharf are seeking a Post Completion Assistant to join their busy team.

The successful Post Completion Assistant will be a highly organised and diligent individual who has excellent attention to detail. You will need to have a positive "can do" attitude and maintain a friendly and professional attitude within the firm. Duties to include:

· Completing and submitting Stamp Duty Land Tax forms

· Setting up Stamp Duty Land Tax payments

· Completing and submitting Land Registry applications

· Liaising with fee earners to address Land Registry requisitions

· Obtaining policy certificates

· Drafting letters to lenders to notify of completion of registration

· Scanning documents

· Renewing land registry priority searches

· General support to the conveyancing department

This Post Completion Assistant is a full time, permanent role, working Monday - Friday, with one day working from home.

Requirement

· Post Completion experience (desirable)

· To have a basic understanding of conveyancing and Land Registry rules surrounding registration of properties
